There will be a free Fishing Derby hosted by the Gloversville Recreation Commission on Saturday, April 26th for youth ages 15 and under at Wohlfarth’s Pond in Gloversville. The event will run from 8:00am until noon, concluding with an awards ceremony. Participants must use live bait for the duration of this catch and release competition. Refreshments will be available for sale.

The City of Gloversville Recreation Commission will hold their monthly meeting on April 24th, 2014 at 7:00pm in the employee lounge at City hall. Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of every month , except when holidays conflict. The public is encouraged to attend meetings and volunteer at events.
