   Micropolis Cooperative Art Gallery will be partnering with the Sacandaga Valley Arts Network (SVAN) to present an art night in downtown Gloversville- "Art on Main." Celebrate the artwork of regional artists in two locations from 4:30-7pm on June 13. The SVAN 2014 Annual Member Show, which will be on display at the Fulton Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Rotunda Gallery from June 3- July 30, 2014, will be hosting a reception on Friday, June 13. The Members show is a regional art show featuring the work of some of its fine artists in a variety of media and styles. Simultaneously that evening, Micropolis Cooperative Art Gallery, located within the Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market, will hold its "Meet the Artists" reception featuring guest artist Harry Wirtz, professional photographer from Edinburg, NY. The member artists of Micropolis will also have artwork in the gallery and be available to discuss their work.

   Sacandaga Valley Arts Network is a New York not-for-profit corporation, whose purpose is to promote the arts in the Sacandaga region. SVAN began in 1997 in Northville, NY, and has since grown into more than 250 members, served and organized by its 9 board members. SVAN helps create opportunities for artistic expression and experience in an array of visual, musical, and performance art. SVAN also continues to educate the community through its many offered workshops and classes. 

   Micropolis Cooperative, Inc. is an organization dedicated to providing services for the benefit of its members including an opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork.Micropolis is also dedicated to building awareness of and support for the art community. The Chamber is located at 2 North Main Street. Micropolis is located at 30 North Main Street, Gloversville, NY.
