   Last weekend I asked for recommendations for a local computer repair shop, because my brothers Acer laptop was stuck in a constant reboot loop and would not load windows outside of safe mode. Many of you offered recommendations via Facebook, but before I could follow up on any of them, Rick Bowers, The Computer Magician followed up with us after someone tagged him in our post. He took in the laptop the very next day (on a day he was closed I'd like to add) and had the problem fixed by the day after.

   It has taken me a few days to pick the laptop up, but it is once again in working order. I am using it now for the first time since it started to malfunction. So I guess at this time I would like to say thank you to everyone who offered recommendations and to The Computer Magician for fixing this computer. I am pretty knowledgeable about fixing computers, but when I was at my wits end he managed to remedy to problem. For $50 I would say it was well worth it. My recommendation for the Computer Magician in Gloversville is now extended to all of you.
