I can hardly believe that it has been 3 years since Front Page Gloversville was started. It has grown from a dozen or so followers on Facebook to almost 2,000. A Twitter account has been added for brief updates and an Instagram has been added for current photographs of Gloversville. The website has become a popular place to find out about upcoming events, learn about local businesses, and delve into the pictorial history of the city of Gloversville.
I would like to take a moment to thank the people who have contributed articles, historical photographs and event updates. Without your continued support and that of the community this project would never have grown into what it is today. I have shared in many enlightening and heartfelt conversations concerning our city with many of you that has become the fuel to keep this project going forward. I can only hope that we continue to expand and that more people will be inspired to get involved as we support our city.
