• 5:30 PM - Santa arrives on a Fire Truck
• 5:45 PM - Santa will light our Christmas Tree at Four Corners (across from Chamber)
• Winners of our Downtown Decorating Contest announced
• Wagon rides start - there will be two routes (N. & S. Main)

• STAY downtown - Eat, shop, ENJOY. Most of our downtown businesses are staying open. Start your Holiday Shopping Locally!

• 7:00 PM - the Classic Image Parade starts at Price Chopper on N. Main and proceeds down Main Street to the Water Department at Cayadutta Street.

Halloween Crafts Event

  The youth in the community are invited to join the Gloversville Recreation Commission for a Halloween Craft Activity at the Senior Center located at 53 Church Street on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 2:00-4:00pm.

  They will be using paint, popsicle sticks, and pipe cleaners to construct fun Halloween themed creations for you and your child to bring home.

Get Involved!

The Gloversville Recreation Commission is looking to fill vacancies for one adult and one youth member. They typically meet once a month in addition to planning and staffing various events throughout the year. Volunteers are also needed to assist at events.

Trick or Treating

Trick or Treating in the city of Gloversville will take place on Saturday, October 31 (Halloween night), from 6:00-8:00pm.
