The Mayor has announced that third quarter sales tax numbers are in at $889,560 for the City of Gloversville, which is up 5.7% over this quarter last year and up 4% Year to date over last year! The suggested budget was submitted to the common council last Friday with a 1% tax decrease to property owners while maintaining our current services.
City News The Gloversville Transit Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 15 at the Transit Building, 109 West Fulton Street. Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month. The public is welcome to attend.
Gloversville Transit Commission | in City News The Gloversville Department of Public Works will have the following schedule for Columbus Day: Monday's garbage will be collected on Tuesday and Tuesday's garbage will be collected on Wednesday.
City News The Gloversville Recreation Commission is looking to fill vacancies for one adult and one youth member. They typically meet once a month in addition to planning and staffing various events throughout the year. Volunteers are also needed to assist at events.
