Gloversville Recreation Commission | in City News, Community The City of Gloversville Recreation Commission will hold their monthly meeting in the Employee Lounge at City Hall on Thursday, June 26th, at 7:00pm. The public is encouraged to attend and offer any ideas they may have for upcoming events. You do not need to be an appointed member of the Recreation Commission to assist at events. If you would like to help out at community events sponsored by the Recreation Commission but your schedule doesn’t allow the time to be a member of the board a volunteer application can be found on the city website at cityofgloversville.com.
Gloversville Recreation Commission | in City News, Community The City of Gloversville Recreation Commission will meet for their monthly meeting on Thursday, May 22, 2014 in the employee lounge at City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend these meetings to discuss upcoming events and to volunteer when available. The employee lounge within Gloversville City Hall is the first door on your left after entering from the parking lot side door. The Commission in still in need of one more Recreation Commissioner, those interested should inquire with the Mayor.

There will be a free Fishing Derby hosted by the Gloversville Recreation Commission on Saturday, April 26th for youth ages 15 and under at Wohlfarth’s Pond in Gloversville. The event will run from 8:00am until noon, concluding with an awards ceremony. Participants must use live bait for the duration of this catch and release competition. Refreshments will be available for sale.
The City of Gloversville Recreation Commission will hold their monthly meeting on April 24th, 2014 at 7:00pm in the employee lounge at City hall. Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of every month , except when holidays conflict. The public is encouraged to attend meetings and volunteer at events.
