The Little Miss Colonial Pageant
The Little Miss Colonial pageant is a pageant for age groups 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, and 13-16 (teens). (Boys are also welcome to compete with us!) Our goal for the pageant is to promote self-esteem, confidence and to allow the children a head start into fun community service projects and volunteerism. No child will leave empty handed! The winners and runner ups from each category will be able to participate in community service projects, parades, and other fun events throughout the community!
Rules: No glitz permitted, Must be within the ages of 4-16.
The entry fee will be $25.00 with an additional $5.00 for optional categories such as talent, photogenic, and an optional workshop. The photo for “most photogenic” must be submitted
with the application and should be a 8X10 photo. Talent will be for teens only. The optional workshop will allow the children an opportunity to meet with local Miss America titleholders such as Miss Mohawk Valley 2014, Lauren Crandall! Lauren along with other titleholders will provide the children with tips and advice for the big day!
The pageant will be a non-glitz pageant which means children should be dressed age appropriately. This will be a part of the scoring. No makeup, eyelashes or hair pieces are permitted for the young contestants.
Phases of competition for children 4-12 will be formal wear (wear your Sunday best!) and onstage question. As stated, there will be optional additional categories that your child may compete in as well!
Teens will compete in private interview, evening gown, and onstage question. They will also have the opportunity to compete in the additional categories
There will also be an award for the child who brings in the most donations for our local animal shelters and for the child who sells the most tickets!
