Auditions for Talent Show

The Glove Performing Arts Center, 42 North Main Street, Gloversville

Talent show June 7 at 7:30 p.m., doors will open at 7:00 p.m.

General admission will cost $10.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.

The event will celebrate the Glove's 100 years.

The Glove is looking for performers. Auditions will be held at the Glove on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Those auditioning will be asked to present a short demonstration of talent, not to exceed two minutes. To schedule an audition time, call the Glove Performing Arts Center at 773-8255, Ext. 21. Leave your name and phone number and someone will call you back, a news release said. Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time to fill out paperwork and warm up. The Glove will provide limited space for warm-ups, a piano and a stereo. Performers should be ready to go with tapes cued, instruments tuned and all material needed to show the talent.
