The Fulton County Historical Society & Museum will be hosting their 11th Annual Ice Cream Social on Friday May 17th from 6:30-8pm. The cost will be $3.50 each, kids under 5 are free. Please join us as we help do our part to preserve our local history and enjoy some ice cream with friends.

 

Gloversville Transit Meeting 5/16/13

The Gloversville Transit Commission will hold its monthly meeting tonight at 6pm in the Transit Building on West Fulton Street. With the opening of Walmart and Kinderhook coming up there is much to discuss in regard to route alterations. The public is encouraged to attend.

Library Election Results

The Gloversville Public Election results for May 7th, 2013 are as follows:

249 ballots were cast at the library.

51 absentee votes

176 voted in favor of the proposition to increase the Library’s tax levy by $5,473. 124 voted against.

25 names were submitted by write-in for the open trustee seat.

Vincent DeSantis received the highest number of votes with 27.
