Junior Firefighter Program

The Pleasant Square Volunteer Fire Department is now accepting applications for their Junior Firefighter Program from within their fire district. Youth ages 14 up through 17 will have the opportunity to learn about the fire service while providing the department with additional help in accomplishing exterior firefighting tasks. What types of activities can you expect from the Junior Firefighter Program? Training in firefighting, participation in local parades, assist during department events (breakfasts, boot drives, etc), the yearly banquet (formal gathering to celebrate the achievements of the past year) and much more.
