Meet the Fiber Artist Reception

Eileen Carey-Testo lives on a small farm called Weston Hill in Westerlo, New York where she and her husband tend to a diverse flock of sheep. She has been involved in fiber art for more than 25 years and works in a variety of mediums, all of which incorporate products from her own farm. Her award-winning work has been displayed at art galleries, shows and exhibitions.

Eileen is especially well-known for her needle-felted characters. She brings these characters to life with nothing more than a single barbed needle, a handful of carded wool, and her imagination. These 100% wool art pieces comprise a broad range of subjects, with inspiration ranging from local people to whimsical creatures. They are cherished by collectors worldwide. The great depth of color can also be seen in her many felted or woven pieces as well as her wonderful yarns and garments. For more information about Eileen's work and Weston Hill Farm, visit www.westonhillfarm.com.

Also on display will be original artwork by artists Dan Bridge, Laurie Cerasia, Carol Law Conklin, Ruth Crotty, Constance Dodge, Nancy Dunn, Susy Easterly, Katherine Ehle, Cheryl Gutmaker, Michelle Harring, Linda Hinkle, Lynda Naske, Ellen Rae Panero, Judith Plotner, Sandra Grace Smith, and Patsy Suydam.

The show will be open seven days a week from March 6 through April 30.
