  The Fulton County Soroptimist organization is holding the 33rd Annual Fall Craft Fair, formerly The Hadassah Craft Fair, on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at the Gloversville Middle School, 234 Lincoln Street, Gloversville, New York. The Craft Fair will offer over 100 professional crafters, a bake sale, food concession, and raffles!

  Soroptimist International of Fulton County, Inc. is a Chapter of Soroptimist International of the Americas; the Fulton County Club has been in existence for 61 years. Our efforts serve to improve the lives of women and girls in our local community and throughout the world. To learn more about the Soroptimist organization go to www.sia.org. Our official mailing address is Soroptimist International of Fulton County, Inc, PO Box 168, Gloversville, NY 12078 Some of our causes and programs, past and present that we support include: Elizabeth Cady Stanton Women's Symposium, Mental Health Association of Fulton & Montgomery Counties, Inc., Nathan Littauer Hospital for purchase of stereotactic biopsy unit for mammography, A.S.P.I.R.E.- A Soroptimist Project to Inspire Real Esteem for Teens (Program on Internet Safety), Youth and Women's Scholarships, Fulton-Montgomery Community College Women's Lift Program, furnishing of a "Sunshine Room" at the Family Counseling Center domestic violence shelter, Captain Youth Services (Gloversville Drop-in Center). "We are committed to a world where women and girls achieve their individual and collective potential, realize aspirations and have an equal voice in creating strong, peaceful communities worldwide. Soroptimist International of the Americas has more than 1,400 clubs in 19 countries and territories. The majority of Soroptimist effort is done at the local club level. Clubs assess the needs of their communities and then undertake projects that will best fill those needs. One of our main fundraisers has been the annual Celebrity Chef Dinner.
