Good morning, It has come to my attention that some in the community are put off by the fact that those operating Front Page Gloversville are not always publically displayed. Where as I have never been secretive of my identity in that I always answer when asked, I thought this project would have more success as a movement rather than being attached to an individual directly.
My name is Bruce Logan Barclay. I have served your community on the Transit Commission for two years, the Recreation Commission for two years, the Railfest Committee for three years, have been a volunteer firefighter for five years and I am a member at the Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market. I tell you these things not to gloat, but to offer a sense of my commitment to the community. It brings me great joy to be involved in my community.
The Mayor, Common Council, Business Improvement District, downtown businesses, and any who ask are aware of my intentions. I have had many contributors since this project began in October of 2011 and I assure you that we all want to see Gloversville thrive as much as you do. So please help us move beyond taking credit and placing blame as we move forward together.
