Fulton United Soccer Club

The weather is improving outside and soon all of the snow will have melted. This means that our local youth soccer season at Darling Field is fast approaching! Sports can be a great oppurtunity to bond and support your child as he or she learns the value of teamwork and dedication.

The Fulton United Soccer Club is a recreational soccer league that is run soley by volunteers. Soccer games in this program are designed to be competitve, but focus largely on skills, team work and excercise. The FUSC generates all of its revenue from registrations, sponsorships, and fundraisers. The Fulton United Soccer Club is not supported by City, State, or Government Agencies and thus is open to all Fulton County residents.

If your child would like to join in on the fun the Fulton United Soccer Club offers a Spring and Fall season to youth of age 4 on or before December 1st 2013 (Pre-K) right up through grade 8. However, the 6-8th grade Senior Division is only offered in the Spring. The Spring season will run from May 4th-June 22nd 2013 and the Fall season will run September 7th-October 19th 2013.

Sign ups will run until April 1st. There will be late sign ups being accepted until April 15th at an additional $15 late fee just in case your child is a little indecisive. Make sure that if you are going to take advantage of this great opportunity for your kid(s) that you do so before April 15th, because no sign ups will be accepted after this date. The registration fees are $35 for the Spring or Fall Season and $40 if you wish to sign up your child for both seasons.

Darling Field is a beautiful recreational area that can allow for a total of 7 soccer games to take place simultaneously. This allows for friends, brothers, and sisters to play on the same days resulting in a family fun activity for everyone to enjoy. The field is located in the city of Gloversville and can be accessed from either Kingsboro Avenue or Newman Street.
