For the first time since 2011, Gloversville will host its rival Johnstown for the 88th time at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Husky Field. Gloversville has won the past six meetings between the two districts, tying a series record. The Huskies lead this historic rivalry 42-38-7.
Gloversville High School | in Entertainment The GHS junior class, which had to cancel its Breakfast with Santa fundraiser, has rescheduled a “Bringing in the New Year Breakfast.”
The breakfast is set for 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 29 at the Johnstown Moose. The cost of $6 per person includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, potatoes, juice and coffee. Those younger than 2 are free.
The event also will include a 50/50 raffle and a raffle for a Lottery Tree.
All proceeds will benefit the junior class.

Gloversville High School | in Community, Events The Gloversville High School Drama Club has announced it will stage "The Election," a comedy by Don Zolidis.
Performances will take place at 7 pm on May 10th and May 11th and at noon on May 12th in the Gloversville High School auditorium.
Tickets cost $10 for the general public, and $8 for students younger than 12 and seniors.
