Free Family Movie

The Gloversville Recreation Commission will be offering a free showing of "Monsters vs. Aliens Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space" at the Gloversville Senior Center on Sunday, October 6th. The movie will begin at 1:00pm. Affordable concessions will be available for purchase. Come early to get a good seat! Chairs are available but feel free to bring a blanket and pillow and get comfy on the floor!

Gloversville City Recreation

The Gloversville Recreation Commission monthly meeting will be held tomorrow evening, September 26, at 7:00pm in the Employee Lounge at City Hall. Discussed will be the success of previous events and upcoming event planning. Anyone wishing to volunteer or foster ideas for future events should attend the meeting. Everyone is welcome. Recreation Night

Tuesday Recreation Nights
The Gloversville City Recreation Department will host Tuesday recreation nights from 6-9 PM on September 10th, 17th and 24th at the Gloversville Senior Center on Church Street. The events will feature open ping pong as well as other activities. Admission is free and open to all ages. Please contact Jeff Ashe at 725-7413 for more information.

Games include: ping pong, chess, UNO, wii, Sorry! and others! Feel free to bring your favorite board game too!

Tennis Program Training

The Gloversville City Recreation Department will host the United States Tennis Association (USTA) from 9 AM till noon on Saturday September 21st at Darling Field. The USTA will conduct training for organized tennis. The Recreation Department is asking volunteers from the community to attend to help establish a youth and adult city tennis program.
