The 39 Steps

  The next production is “ The 39 Steps” directed by Mark Joseph Peek. March 19- 21@ 8PM & March 22nd @2PM. Adults $12. Seniors/Students $10.

  This play is a melodrama adapted from the 1915 novel by John Buchan, playwright by Patrick Barlow. While on vacation in London, Canadian Richard Hannay becomes embroiled in an international spy ring related to the mysterious 39 Steps, then he meets agent Annabella Smith, who is killed in his apartment.

  Mix a Hitchcock master piece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have the 39 Steps, a fast, paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! This winning Tony and Drama Desk Award play is paced with non-stop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by ridiculously talented cast of 4) handcuffs, missing fingers and some good old fashioned romance!
