Have you ever considered becoming a firefighter? You should! Here in Pleasant Square Fire Department, we have a diverse team of all ages, from a wide variety of backgrounds, who are committed to helping their community and growing together.
The Pleasant Square Volunteer Fire Department is now accepting applications for their Junior Firefighter Program from within their fire district. Youth ages 14 up through 17 will have the opportunity to learn about the fire service while providing the department with additional help in accomplishing exterior firefighting tasks.
Glove to Glove is still looking for GESD alumni and Gloversville community members to help GESD youth with career mentoring, exploration, skill-building, and planning.
